Why Us?
Our furniture is handcrafted by designer Mike Waring, who draws inspiration from his love of the arts and traditional woodworking. Each piece is a blend of beauty and practicality, featuring simple lines and high-quality materials that create a pleasing visual experience. We prioritize premium textiles and finishes for a delightful tactile feel, while our ergonomic designs ensure comfort and support.

For our solid wood furniture, we utilize:
- We use locally sourced timber that is sustainably harvested to minimize environmental impact. Each piece is milled to order in Ruidoso, NM, enabling us to support the local economy while delivering high-quality, durable materials that are environmentally responsible.
- Our red-label chemical-free leather, made in Spain, is produced using innovative methods that reduce waste by diverting materials from landfills. Olive leaves, a by-product of the olive industry, are transformed into a serum used to tan hides sourced from the meat industry. This sustainable approach underscores our commitment to eco-friendly practices in leather production.
- We use blankets handcrafted by indigenous weavers, highlighting their artistry and cultural heritage. Each piece is unique, featuring traditional techniques and vibrant designs that celebrate the rich history and craftsmanship of the weavers, making every cushion one of a kind.
- Alongside our woven blankets and leather, we offer a variety of textiles, including antique linen from Western Europe, upcycled burlap coffee bags, sustainably made Belgian linen, and modern upholstery fabrics. This selection reflects our commitment to sustainability and quality, combining timeless heritage with contemporary design.
- We use no-VOC finishes that are not only durable and beautiful but also allow the texture of the wood to shine through. This approach enhances the natural character of the wood, providing a lovely tactile experience that highlights its unique qualities.
For our Plywood furniture
SHOP FLAT PACKED PLY FURNITURE
- Mike initially created this flat-pack furniture line to test concepts for his solid wood collection, but he quickly realized these pieces are exceptional on their own. Each item is made from architectural-grade plywood and features a traditional wedged through-tenon construction technique, eliminating the need for glue, nails, or screws. A chair assembles in about three minutes and disassembles in just one. Each piece is stable, comfortable, and durable while remaining highly portable; for example, Mike stores a queen-sized bed in his guest room closet when not in use and can set it up in minutes.
- Every design can be ergonomically customized to ensure a perfect fit for individual needs. All pieces are finished with no-VOC finishes that are not only durable and beautiful but also highlight the wood's natural texture. Additionally, custom engraved artwork is available for all pieces.
